Thanks nanna! The first one I did, the one in the clockwise "2 o'clock position, is full of just regular polyfill. That one traveled too much. The second through fourth, all but the all black one in the 7 o'clock position have red spring wheat in the top and bottom cushions. The black one is a mix of all. The bottom cushion is spring wheat, the middle is polyfill, and the top is crushed glass emery, suggested by the lady who runs the sewing circle I go to. I think I like that one the best. It's heavy and stays put, and the what berries sometimes stop the pins prematurely, so I suspect they're not great for the points so having the emery is nice.

I kept trying to stop filling them, and one of the ladies at the circle who quilts kept saying "more".... I took her word for it, and I think they turned out great for a first try.
