I am also doing the Affairs of the Heart, only 1/2 way so far, but I was thinking of echoing around each applique and doing a small heart paisley type of fill in the background. It is really going to be a huge job
What sized blocks did you make? Have you put them together like the one in the book or did you arrange them differently. I'm having a hard time finding the right fabric for the little skinny border around the centre blocks.
