Recovering from a long day looking at quilts. This is my 6th year and the first time I have been when my knees weren't hurting. It is HUGE! I think I saw every single quilt and made it thru all of the vendors except 2 aisles. Bought some stuff and got lots of ideas. I think the most amazing quilts every years are from Japan. Thousands of tiny pieces sewn and quilted by hand. It's not something I ever plan to try, but it is still amazing. I love all of the hand-pieced and hand-quilted quilts since that is what I do. They make me hope I live long enough to get half as good as the ones I see.

The place is packed with people. My lovely DIL went with me. When she got tired, she went to the Husband's Lounge and read her Kindle. You always meet so many nice people from so many places and everyone is helpful. Quilters are just nice people, aren't they?
