Shelly, that's really cute!

I LOVE making landscape/seascape/portrait quits!! I've done them using several different techniques. The last one was really the most fun. I drew a design on muslin, & then using color crayons just colored it like a in a coloring book. Then, (using a very old iron & a few sheets of paper) ironed out the wax. Then I did a raw edge applique technique & some thread painting over my picture. It actually came out pretty good. I have already started another one that way. It's easier & less messy than using paint or dye, & more colorful than a transfer meant to be totally covered up.
