Same here, I never knew when I took up quilting that it would lead me to this quilting board and all the knowledge and inspiration , then on to the "vintage machine" postings. I had never heard of a featherweight or seen one until I saw them here. Now I have 2 Featherweights, one 99 and then got a Singer redeye 66, and lastly have a 15-91. Two have the bentwood cases, one is in it's original cabinet, and the featherweights came in their cases. I also have my "fancier" computer Janome and embroidery machines, but I love, love, love sewing on the vintage ones. So I totally relate
