Freddie - I have even done that when I didn't want a binding to show on the front of the quilt. I think it's called a "Knife edge binding". Hadn't thought of that for this, but I like that idea! If all else fails I'm doing it. The binding I'm using is the same fabric as the outer border so that should work fine. Thanks.
