According to DH, it is cast iron and White made Kenmore machines. Sears never made the products, they retailed the products manufactured by others with the Kenmore (store brand) name on it. Now Sears has gotten away from that a lot and sells more named brand products. In our opinion, any of the vintage machines are worth restoring. It is a part of your history and family items. Good luck
