SS only and finding it more and more difficult to keep up. Looks as if I too will be using a lot more savings ideas....My biggest expense is gas.....live in rural area and need to drive 10 miles each way to stay in touch with friends....They are very important in my life so I will continue with that and cut back other places.....Can't go back to work as I have kidney disease and am on disability...Been on chemo over 10 years so must stay away from large groups of people and can't risk catching any illness they may have....What happened to the "golden years"?
