You will drive close to the Arch on the way across the bridge to IL - it's worth seeing as is the St Louis Zoo. Driving down to Paducah from St Louis ( 3 full hours of farms and interstate) you will pass through some nice wine country (tasting and tours are available) and antiquing - but Paducah and several towns nearby have some great antiquing.
