Personally I think the border almost clashes with the center. I don't think I'd put any border at all on it and just bind it with the background color. Using the border fabric on a quilt that will be in the same room as this wall hanging would work though.
I have to agree. The border fabric is beautiful but it has a different feel than the star. Romantic versus geometric or something like that. I think the star stands on its own nicely. I vote no border!
