It's a gorgeous quilt. You've done a beautiful job. If I made something like that, I'd be celebrating! How you quilt it is up to you. When I quilt feathers, I buy those rolls of thin paper that have the feathers printed on them, pin the paper to the fabric where I want feathers, and just (slowly) "follow the lines" with stitching. It never comes out perfect, and honestly, I'm the only one who ever notices it's not perfect. It suits me, and the more I do it, the better I become at feathers. Who knows? One of these days I may be able to do feathers without using the paper!
