I fell for the Martelli rotary cutter at a show, then didn't try it for awhile. Big mistake, I should have opened it immediately! It is the best thing since sliced bread! I have arthritis, in hands, ankles and back, so I can't stand to do my cutting, this little gem cuts through my fabric like butter with NO pressure on my hands, in fact I have to remind myself that I don't have to hang on so tight, it works without a lot of force. I too love gadgets, but this on is on top of the heap!
I, too LOVE the Martelli cutter BUT, I also bought the black ruler with the slots and I never use it. I found I don't like rulers I can't see through. I'm usually pretty conservative about buying gadgets. I know what I like and what I don't but this one fooled me. Again, love the rotary cutter, hate the ruler.
