I have an APQS Ult 1 and have had it for almost 15 yrs...bought it used-5 yrs- I have been using it on. Professional basis for all that time and NEVER have had any problems...but I must add I religiously keep it as lint free as I can, oil regularly and I do take a trip to the factory every 4/5 yrs to give it a spa day.......and me a weekend of antiquing, fabric shopping or whatever. I live in Illinois so it is a short road trip and well worth it. There is a learning curve, be patient...take a class if you can, I was fortunate to be able to take a day long class from Dawn Cavanaugh, who is now in administration w/company, and that was worth every penny...if you have questions don't hesitate contacting the company techs...they are great!
