Laurie I loved reading about your research, what a pleasure to speak to the daughter of one of the Pony recipients. I have not personally tried acupuncture but I have had some friends who have and they say it was the best thing for pain relief. Hope you find what works for you and relief from pain.
I played a little with pretty fabric today and made my first Sylvia block. I think I will just place them randomly as most blocks have more than one colour. The background fabric is not a true white but not cream either, it has white flowers on it and I think will work for this quilt. Let me know what you think. I am going to put the final borders on Animal Flowers now, no more playing
