I toss most of min -- I still have a bunch of wooden spools but have not hung onto the plastic ones. When my lasg DGS gets a a bit older, I will throw a few in his drawer in my kitchen. I have a couple of very large wooden spools that I wind binding on and it feeds from my front spool holder.
