You can make really cute Christmas tree decorations with them. Wrap them Christmas fabric, glued down. Thread embroidery floss through the holes in a great big button and then thread through the center of the spool. Repeat with aother spool, tie them together and you've got a Christmas decoration. Soon or late, though, you've got to get rid of them. They breed like rabbits and you soon will be buried under them. froggyintexas
