It take some time but it not hard. You do a rolled hem on the bottom edge with a serger. Then sew the panels together. Then you do a overlock stitch over the seams to give it a finish look. Hand sew rib eyes on to the fabric points.
Did you have to buy the frame or can you use another umbrella and recover it? I have a couple that I've had for eons. Don't know why I kept them, maybe waiting for something like this
