As complicated as insurance is getting, we should all be keeping an inventory of everything we own, unfortunately. DH and I have not only replacement coverage, but automatic value-up coverage, which allows for the cost to replace, especially the cost to rebuild, but also for contents. People buy things, not realizing how much they will be missed if they don't have it. Total loss only goes so far. Ours covers my Janome, but if I had a longarm, I believe I would get a rider for it.
