Yes some kids wanted to remain anonymous. When you heat set, place a clean sheet of paper over the artwork (use one piece of paper for each drawing because the color may migrate) and use a dry iron for about 10 seconds. This will melt the colored wax into the material.

The piece can be washed but only on cold and only hang to dry. You will still get fading. I would only use this method on pieces that won't be washed (mug rug, wall hanging, etc) unless you don't mind the colors fading to a pastel look. There is some information on the board from others that used this method.
