Don't even try removing them.. They will come off with heat and work, but the appliques will never be the same and neither will the place where they were stuck. This is where we quilter's excel. I agree with the others, add more berries and leaves, who knows, by the time you get is so you like it, it may be a whole lot better than if you'd have done it the way the pattern says. More berries and leaves can't hurt a thing and I think they will look great!
