I agree it looks just fine as it is! The suggestion to add more leaves/berries along that line would make you happy that they are over the green sashing. Add even more to balance it however you need to! I think you will be sorry if you try to take the other one off. I've never tried to removed fused fabric but I can't imagine it would look good. The fabric under it will have some adhesive on it, no matter what, and not look the same. Be inventive and turn it into your own quilt! No one knows but you!!
