Like the sunbonnet girls - have a lot of designs using them. I have taken SILK artificial flowers, take them apart, and sewn them on to sweaters, etc. Put a button on the center, or use a bead center for smaller flowers. Would look very nice to fill in your picture - maybe a flower bed across the bottom. They wash along with my sweaters and blouses with no problem, and don't seem to fade. Good luck - and will be anxious to see your finished design done. Hug all those beautiful children for me. (Mine are too far away to hug right now.)
