What a wonderful gift for your Dad, and a great remembrance of his service to his country. I had 5 brothers who served their country, 4 in the Air Force during the Korean War, and the youngest joined the National Guard, served during the Viet Nam war. Also my husband was in the Air Force and served in Viet Nam for a year. Not all veterans want to talk about their war experiences, some are just too painful - I think I can count on one hand the number of times my husband talked about his year in Viet Nam. The QOV are a great way to honor our service men and women for their sacrifices.
