My grandmother used to hide a pickle in her tree... German heritage - I used to hide one on our tree until I started using a white Christmas tree... believe me - it is tough to hide a green pickle in a white tree.... Now the pickle is hidden somewhere in the living room. The kids have just as much fun finding where it is hidden in the room.
