I am making a fleece toddler blanket...I have a center panel,of a pro basketball team..then i got co-ordinating fleece to make squares around the panel..i am going to put flannel or cotton on the back.so what it looks like in on the back won't matter..but i don't want it lumpy at the seams.
so..i want to butt the fleece up against each other and do a zig zag stitch. Should i use a strip of fusable stablizer,(like a couple inches on each side of the seam, pressed together ) first to keep them butted? and would the zig zag stitch be ok, do you think? i know it won't unravel..
