The key to no messy or dirty house is Clean a Clean house. It's fast and easy to dust furniture with no dust on it. Clean a dirty spot in a clean fridge. Swish a brush in a clean toilet bowl. I have my big cleaning jobs scheduled one per week like washing window may be this week, oven cleaning the next, move furniture to clean behind the next, and so on. This way all the big jobs get done with little effort keeping it clean in between. I love opening closets and cabinets and see one thing in one spot, not stuff piled on top of other stuff. The only room I can't seem to get the clutter under control is my sewing room but I try.
