I poke a pin in the quilt piece where the 1/4 inch mark is from top and side Figure out the same place on the one you are sewing it to, and pin right there With a little stretching or squincing, it usually will fit. I have seen them on the Fons and Porter show mark with a pen or pencil the exact dot where the two pieces intersect.
