Jitterbug, I do some machine quilting but I feel a lot less control that way, so I usually stick with hand quilting. I think part of my problem is that I am lazy when it comes to basting and don't do it as thoroughly as I should, so my backs get scrunched up with machine quilting, whereas with hand quilting I can stretch out the back as I go along.
