Love this thread! I learned to wear an apron when my "Cooking for Boys and Girls" cookbook's first instruction was to"wash your hands and put on an apron!" I was about 9or10. I wear them every time I cook or clean, so much so that my boys tell me I wear them "like a dress!" But they save my clothes and put me in the mood to work.

my favorite patterns come from Mary Mulari. I like the butcher style for its un fussy coverage and prefer them lined for the sturdiness and protection. But they have to be cute and cheerful, too! Love aprons!!! Lol!
