I love aprons. and wear them all the time when I cook , because I am so messy ( and I hate to ruin halfway decent clothes with spills). My absolute favorite book is "Retro Aprons" by Cindy Taylor Oates and also another of hers.
I usually make them reversible, because I am way to lazy to fiddle with bias binding
I just made one this w/e to wear when I am quilting to keep threads off my clothes. It is called Addys apron from seams and dreams patterns. It is a reversible pull over style with no ties. Seems to work ok so far. Had part was picking the fabrics! Lol
