I’m not sure about that. I’d have to do some research. Happy made some good machines I think, but I’m not sure when they quit or sold out.
My wife ordered hers out of the Wards Catalog a short time after we got married. She used a big chunk of our wedding gift money to pay for it as I seem to recall. That was back when $44 was a lot of money to us.
Actually, Wards got the order fouled up and sent her 2; 1 by USPS Parcel, and 1 by freight truck. She sent one back and then had to argue with Wards for quite some time that she wasn’t due a refund. They finally took the credit off of their books.
Do you have any history of your machine? It didn’t come out of a yardsale in southwestern Oklahoma in the early 90s, did it?
