they are all fun but if you really want to burn through fabric whatever pattern you use, use no bigger than 2" units. The more blocks the more fabric gone because of that 1/2 seam allowance in every block. This will use up about 15 yards of fabric. Makes a heavier quilt, but more cosy to sleep under
The last border I put on had more than 5000 pieces, all one inch finished. It's gorgeous!
