Love your quilt. I agree with others you can still appliqué your giraffe. I often monogram quilts after I finish them. I like the name through all the layers. Go for itI. I like fusible appliqué with a pretty stitch around the edge. I love using pretty thread and stitches to take it up a notch! Post again if you add your appliqué .
