Great job on the case. If it has not been stained or painted, tell him to wipe the wood down with low odor mineral spirits then wipe on a coat of oil base stain such as MinWax gunstock or some other color to your liking. Follow can directions and after a few days drying time, topcoat it with a water base polyurethane finish. See the pic of the extension table I made for one of my 128's using the above instructions. Tell him to keep up the good work.
