It may take me a year but I have started cutting all of my leftover batting into 4.5" squares and cutting circles from all of our old blue jeans. Has anyone made anything like this?

Yes I have made one and love it. I used flannel to back the denim circle but did not use batting because I felt it would be too heavy. Good luck with your project
