I'm from the South (TX) so baked beans are a staple!
Cans of pork and beans (pick out those that are not too sweet), chopped onions, chopped bell pepper, quite a bit of worchestershire sauce, a bit of mustard, ketchup, a bit of brown sugar. Mix together with spoon. Pour into a baking dish. Top with slices of uncooked bacon. Bake for 1 hour.
