I don't get the starch flakes/residue but I used to. Remember those scrubby things that people made out of plastic milk jug handles and netting? My former mother in law made one for me and that thing was perfect for getting the starch residue off of fabric.
Ok, I had to search for a picture and instead I found a clip from the Carol Duvall show making one! I forgot about that show!
