For this one I cut 2 1/2" strips of my 2 colors and made square in a square blocks again to bring them back out in the quilt. This is a 4 1/2" unfinished border. Cut 1- 3 1/4" square out of your main fabric and 2- 2 7/8" squares(cut these once diagonal). Sew sides, then top and bottom. Measure your quilt according to how many blocks you want around it.
