I appreciate that posters don't want to hurt someone's feelings and so pictures would be hard to come up with.... This discussion has morphed from quilts that are cuddly, quilting overwhelming piecing, simple quilting can't win at a show etc.
Quilting is a design choice and a skill.
Also some quilters are happy doing the same thing over again and some are venturing into new areas. I think we owe it to each other to let quilters be creative in their own way and not decide one way is right or more pure.
My honest thoughts, IF someone took the time to post a picture or enter a show they are probably happy with their work.
I can't understand some of the thoughts and judgements expressed here so I will ignore them and continue with what brings me joy.
