Laughing at the grand dog. You are not alone. I have grand cats, grand dogs, grand rabbits and , yuck..... a grand snake. I don't claim that one except in this list of screwy grand somethings. My one son and daughter-in-law are childless by choice and have blessed me with grand cats. Not what I was ever expecting, (is that a play on words, expecting?) but grand cats are what I got.
