Honestly I think that is the same as the Steady Betty. It's two foam lined vinyl wrapped around boards sandwiched together. The foam back vinyl use to be sold at most upholstery shops and fabric shops for outdoor use. You can iron on the foam side, doesn't hurt the vinyl at all. I'm not a fan of Martelli sales tactics but that price is very reasonable.
Almost everything that is expensive you can find the same thing just made by a different manufacturer a lot cheaper, might not be top of the line but still does the job. So I AGREE completely with you Onebyone.
