Unfolding Star - adapted from a Nancy Cabot design and called Waltzing Matilda in Judy Martin's Ultimate Book of Quilt Block patterns the triangles revolve around a center octagon.
I have also also seen this without the small inner triangles, which allows for the center octagon to be larger.
