Thanks for all the responses - to me, these old (and not so old) family quilts are like puzzles. First off, I am a novice at the quilting realm, so I don't have much background knowledge on patterns or fabrics and all. Second, unfortunately I am at that stage in life where the folks who made these quilts are mostly deceased or they are forgetting who made what when.
