Completely off subject: There's an auction in town that I stopped into and had a look around. They had a beat up old model 66 in a case there. I asked the girl working there what old sewing machines generally sold for. She replied "nothing". I figured that's pretty close to the truth. I put the $5.00 minimum bid on it. I should know in about a week if I get it. Honestly I'm more interested in it's case. I already have a better 66 that runs perfectly.

There are a few machines that bring decent money but most really aren't worth a whole lot. I really have a hard time understanding where people come up with their prices.

If it is all there it will be worth the $5 for parts to keep some other machine else alive.
