Just my opinion: when using a cotton batting which shrinks, lots of quilting results in the crinkled look, not a lot of quilting results in the wrinkled look.
It took me several quilts to learn this. Its hard to believe how much I have learned. Experience is so valuable!
If I knew then what I know now....
I think the quilt is fine.
