I have never been a fan of heavy quilting. I've seen too many that totally obliterate the piecing. I want to be able to see the pattern of the quilt. More is not necessarily better in this case. I will admit I admire the talent and time it takes to quilt theses items but for the most part I don't feel it enhances the quilt. I want a quilt to be soft and cuddly not stiff as a board.
