I like to see the different patterned fabrics in the quilts and on those pieces I don't like to see heavy quilting. On the plain parts however, the quilt designs really enhance the theme of the quilts.
I know I will never be one of those whose quilting motifs are drooled over, but that's okay. I have the utmost respect and am in awe of those who make it seem effortless, but I will probably always be a simple-thread quilter!
