I don't have a clue what it is called so don't know how to find it on line. I ripped out a seam at a quilting guild meeting and a gal handed me a tool to clean up the loose threads. It almost looked like a pencil with sort of a big eraser on the end. It worked great (much to my surprise) so I thought I'd pick one up at JoAnns....wrong. They didn't have them and had no clue what I was talking about.
Of course I knew all I had to do was ask on the Quilting Board and I'd get an answer licketey split - LOL...the GENIUS Board.

I had to send DH to get me a new seam ripper and he got one from Walmart that has a rubbery end that removes all the little threads. Works great. The end looks like it it a cap on the cover but is attached. He said it was just a couple dollars.
