When you took it in for repairs, they should have done a sample embroidery to verify that everything was working properly. My repair guy leaves the finished embroidery in the machine when it's returned. If it's still doing this after being 'repaired' twice, I would contact your repair site & make an appointment to bring it in, set it up and do an embroidery to show them what's happening. If it works for them and not for you, something is different!
