My condolences on your loss. I just am so thankful I still have my Mom. She was 75 in August. She's lived with dh and I for years.

I don't have an embroidery machine. I do all of my embroidery and embellishments by hand. I will just have to draw it out and go that way. I have more sewing machines than should be legal (haha).
I've debated buying an embroidery machine. But honestly, I don't think I'll use it. Some of my quilt friends have one, and I think they make beautiful things. But I just enjoy hand embroidery.
I do love both the designs you showed!
